On July 9, 2026, the press conference for the 18th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition (BICES 2027) was held in Beijing. At the event, Wang Chuanming, Chairman of China Construction Machinery Complete Set Co., Ltd. (CNCMC), delivered a keynote speech titled “Pooling Resources, Strengthening Collaboration and Enhancing Effectiveness — Supporting the High-Quality Development of BICES 2027.” The following are the highlights of his remarks:
Today, old and new friends gather together to welcome the press conference of BICES 2027. First of all, as one of the organizers of BICES, I would like to extend my warm welcome to all guests present here, and express my sincere appreciation to colleagues from all sectors who have continuously supported the development of the exhibition.
Since jointly organizing the first Beijing Construction Machinery Exhibition with the China Construction Machinery Industry Association (CCMA) in 1989, CNCMC has participated in seventeen editions of the exhibition. Over the past three decades, the exhibition has grown together with China's construction machinery industry, witnessing the industry's transformation from its early development stage to today's remarkable achievements. Both the market scale and development quality of the industry have undergone tremendous changes.
The successful organization of every edition of the exhibition has been inseparable from the strong support of exhibitors, end users and media organizations. With the guidance of the industry association and the joint efforts of all parties, BICES has developed into a high-quality and large-scale international exhibition event for the construction machinery industry.
Today's press conference marks the official launch of preparations for the 18th Beijing Construction Machinery Exhibition, namely BICES 2027. As one of the organizers, CNCMC will fully leverage its advantages as a central state-owned enterprise platform and focus on three key areas — pooling resources, strengthening collaboration and enhancing effectiveness — to make every effort to empower the exhibition and promote its high-quality development.
Looking back at BICES 2025, we worked together with the industry vertical platform “Attachment Camp” to innovatively create CNCMC Attachment Camp, adopting a new model of “central state-owned enterprise resources + professional vertical services” to provide precise support for the attachment supporting industry.
In the past, attachment enterprises were often operating independently with fragmented resources, and insufficient connection between upstream and downstream sectors had long been a challenge for the industry. By integrating resources across the entire industrial chain, we established channels for supply-demand interaction and created a new cooperation model featuring resource sharing and ecosystem building.
Through on-site dynamic demonstrations, working-condition adaptation displays and precise supply-demand matchmaking, CNCMC Attachment Camp comprehensively showcased the diversified, customized and scenario-based application value of attachment products. It enabled the entire industry to gain a more intuitive understanding of the important supporting role and application potential of attachments in improving machine efficiency, adapting to different working conditions and expanding application scenarios. It also made CNCMC Attachment Camp one of the highlights of BICES 2025.
This also represents the core value of CNCMC as one of the organizers: pooling resources for the industry, building platforms for industrial development, and connecting supply and demand for enterprises. We will continue to promote coordinated development between main machines and attachments, and facilitate the upgrading of the industrial chain toward greater efficiency, integration and innovation.
Based on the practical experience gained from BICES 2025 and bauma SHANGHAI 2026, CNCMC Attachment Camp will be comprehensively upgraded in 2027. Following the development trends of intelligentization and new energy, we will further explore the integrated applications of attachments with electric equipment and intelligent machinery, build a long-term and stable platform for collaborative innovation, resource sharing and business matchmaking, and support supporting enterprises in expanding markets and upgrading products.
CNCMC is affiliated with China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), and we have always taken on the responsibilities of a central state-owned enterprise. Relying on SINOMACH’s industrial strengths in advanced manufacturing, technological research and development, global services and international presence, and focusing on the construction needs under the Belt and Road Initiative, we will promote the coordinated and joint overseas expansion of high-end Chinese equipment, advanced technologies and complete solutions. We will continue to export Chinese complete equipment and technical standards, help enhance the global competitiveness of China's construction machinery industry, and at the same time leverage the customer resources of other central state-owned engineering groups accumulated over the years to organize end-user representatives from these enterprises to visit the exhibition and fully support BICES 2027.
In 2019, the SME Work Service Committee of CCMA was officially established, with its secretariat located at CNCMC. Over the years, we have continued to build platforms to support the integrated development of small and medium-sized enterprises. During BICES 2027, we will further engage with small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, upgrade the dedicated exhibition area for Specialized, Sophisticated, Innovative and Distinctive (SSII) enterprises, and provide targeted matchmaking services to create a high-quality platform for SMEs to showcase products, develop cooperation and expand customer networks.
The journey ahead is long, but together we can go further. Once again, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all partners for their continued support and cooperation. Going forward, CNCMC will continue to optimize exhibition services, provide dedicated support for main equipment manufacturers, component enterprises and end users, strengthen BICES’ core functions in industry showcasing, technological exchange and business matchmaking, and contribute to the high-quality development of the industry.
I believe that, under the overall coordination of the Association and with the strong support of partners and media friends, BICES 2027 will become a globally authoritative, highly recognized and outstanding international professional exhibition for the construction machinery industry.
