On September 23, the 17th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition (BICES 2025) grandly opened at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) in Beijing. Under the theme “Breaking Boundaries, Reaching Depths — A Better Future in Progress,” China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. Among them, the “Snowland Pioneer” TBM, with a diameter of 10.33 meters, achieved six times the efficiency of traditional drilling and blasting methods during excavation. Equipped with advanced systems such as TBM-SMART intelligent tunneling assistance, geological prediction, and vibration monitoring, the machine has overcome world-class challenges including high in-situ stress rockbursts, large soft-rock deformations, high ground temperatures, and active fault zones.
CREG has realized full-process mechanization and intelligentization in tunnel construction. Its representative product, the DJ3E Intelligent Three-Arm Drilling Jumbo, features the V3.0 next-generation intelligent control system, integrating laser vision guidance, anti-collision warning, and remote operation technologies. This innovation has significantly improved operational efficiency and human-machine interaction, reducing average drilling time to 1–1.5 hours. The equipment has been successfully applied in major national projects such as the Plateau Railway and Yifu Railway, earning high praise from project owners.
