CCMA President Su Zimeng and Delegation Attend Opening Ceremony of SANY’s bauma 2025 Exhibition Area
On April 7 (local time), SANY Group, in collaboration with Putzmeister, made a striking appearance at bauma 2025 under the theme “World of Efficiency—Your Partner to Create the Best.” Occupying a total exhibition area of 5,256 square meters, SANY unveiled 66 brand-new machines across seven major product categories.
At 10:00 a.m., the opening ceremony of the SANY exhibition area was held, attended by Su Zimeng, President of China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA); Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of CCMA; Li Jianyou, Vice President of CCMA; and Qi Jun, Honorary President and Special Advisor of CCMA. They were joined by Bai Xuefeng, Vice Chairman of CCCME along with senior SANY executives including Yu Hongfu, Director of SANY Group and President of SANY Heavy Industry; Chen Jiayuan, Chairman of the Heavy Machinery Division; Wang Zheng, General Manager of the Heavy Machinery Division; SONG, Director of the Overseas Business Division and Special Assistant to the Chairman; Yuan Yue, Chairman of the Heavy Lifting Division; Jiang Qingbin, Chairman of the Concrete Machinery Division; and He Xin, General Manager of the Loader Division.
In his opening address, Yu Hongfu emphasized that SANY is showcasing over 60 newly launched products at this year’s exhibition, aiming to deliver high-quality, high-efficiency, high-value, and sustainable solutions to customers worldwide. He highlighted that SANY achieved record-high overseas sales in 2024 and expressed the company's ambition to further expand its global footprint in 2025. “SANY is committed to becoming the most efficient global partner in construction machinery,” said Yu. “Together with our clients, dealers, suppliers, governments, and associations, we will continue contributing to global development and creating greater value for all.”
At the SANY exhibition area, the debut of several market-specific products captured widespread attention from European visitors. Highlights included the SY10U, SANY’s first 1-ton class mini excavator, and the SY26C and SY215C NLC short-tail excavators compliant with EU Stage V emissions standards. Additionally, six excavator models equipped with two-piece booms, long arms, and customized attachments, as well as the SMHW40G5 — a 40-ton material handler designed for the European market — showcased SANY’s strong commitment to regional customization. Other standout products included the STR27C-10 light-duty roller and the SY68 RZR6-180 truck-mounted concrete pump, fully compliant with European regulatory standards.
In a major highlight of this year’s exhibition, 11 SANY electric-powered products made their European debut, spanning all seven major product categories on display. Notable models included the SCC2000A-EV pure electric crawler crane, the STR50E 5-ton all-electric roller, the CE-certified SW956E — SANY’s first electric wheel loader based on a new platform — and the SCP35C6 lithium battery high-voltage counterbalanced forklift. These innovations were met with strong interest and positive feedback from customers and industry professionals.
SANY’s booth and the adjacent Putzmeister area once again presented a dazzling joint showcase of 28 premium concrete machinery models, demonstrating the synergy between the two brands and reinforcing their reputation as leaders in concrete technology and innovation.
At bauma 2025, SANY Group unveiled a comprehensive display of hydraulic components, wear parts, and other essential accessories for the first time. Coupled with its MYSANY digital operation system, the company showcased its efficient and high-quality service capabilities to European customers, underscoring a robust global value chain from high-end machinery to critical components. The display attracted significant attention and sparked numerous partnership discussions.
Sixteen years ago, SANY took its first step into Germany by establishing a factory in Bedburg. Today, it has built an extensive sales and service network across Europe, comprising over 150 dealers, 120 sales experts, 70 service vehicles, and spare parts inventory valued at €20 million. This network stands as a powerful testament to SANY’s 2025 bauma theme: “World of Efficiency—Your Partner to Create the Best.”
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the remote-control experience zone. From the Munich show floor, a visitor operated an excavator located thousands of kilometers away at SANY’s Huzhou base in Zhejiang, China. The excavator arm responded with remarkable synchronicity, completing precise digging tasks in real time. The fluidity of the remote operation drew crowds, with many eager to try the futuristic technology firsthand.
In the SANY demonstration zone, two SY19E electric mini excavators and an SY80U excavator transformed into rhythmic “steel dancers,” performing choreographed routines in sync with live music and professional dancers. The precise movements — swinging buckets, rotating arms, and seamless interaction — vividly illustrated SANY equipment’s outstanding maneuverability and control.
