CCMA President Su Zimeng and Delegation Attend Opening Ceremony of XCMG’s bauma 2025 Exhibition Area
On April 7 local time, bauma 2025 grandly opened its doors. With the theme “Solid Innovation For Green Tomorrow,” XCMG, in collaboration with Schwing, presented over 60 products across 7 major categories. All showcased equipment complies with European regulations and is tailored to customer preferences, offering integrated smart solutions for various application scenarios. XCMG also held an official opening ceremony at its exhibition area.
Su Zimeng, President of China Construction Machinery Association（CCMA）, was invited to attend the ceremony. Other notable guests included Guo Fang, Economic and Commercial Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Munich; Bai Xuefeng, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products; James King, Chairman and CEO of UK-based KHL Group; as well as Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG and Vice Presidents Sun Jianzhong, Jiang Mingzhong, and Shan Zenghai. XCMG’s global strategic partners, client representatives, and employees from both China and Europe also witnessed the occasion.

Consul Guo Fang noted that the global manufacturing industry is undergoing profound transformation, with intelligence, sustainability, and internationalization as key development themes. As leading manufacturing nations, China and Germany share great potential for future cooperation. He expressed hope that XCMG would leverage the global trend of industrial upgrading to deepen partnerships with German firms, jointly promoting the digital and green transformation of manufacturing, and providing higher-quality products and services to global customers.
Inside the exhibition area, the signature “XCMG Gold” color contrasted harmoniously with the “Green Blue” of XCMG’s electric line. XCMG announced collaborations with multiple European companies and delivered key equipment onsite — including the debut of its XCA60_EV hybrid all-terrain crane, over 40 electric excavators and loaders, and the XZ450E-R horizontal directional drilling rig. A large-scale order of road construction equipment, such as rollers, pavers, and motor graders, was also secured for the European market.
Chairman Yang Dongsheng emphasized during the opening ceremony that the successful deliveries at bauma 2025 are a result of XCMG’s more than a decade of deep technical accumulation and localized operations in Europe. He noted that to deeply penetrate the European market, XCMG will focus on refining its products for niche segments, while leveraging the synergistic development of the Schwing and XCMG brands to provide high-quality solutions for European clients.
Today, XCMG’s iconic products — including 2,000-ton telescopic boom wind power cranes, large-tonnage fully electric wheel loaders, and ultra-high aerial work platforms — have already entered the European market and are serving major global infrastructure projects.
At bauma 2025, Schwing Germany unveiled its first fully electric concrete pump truck, along with the jointly developed Ultra Eco electric mixer truck. Yang highlighted that these vehicles, born from the collaboration between Chinese and German engineers, not only represent the precision of German manufacturing, but also embody the global vision of technological leadership championed by both Schwing and XCMG.

All machines are customized for the European market, fully compliant with EU regulations, and designed to address local operational pain points.
